The new Sly Cooper really caught me off guard, I thought Sucker Punch was done with the series.
Hope they can pull it off, the sly games were my favorite platformers last gen.Saints Row 3 also looks like it going to be amazing.

The voice of reason. For everyone arguing that the Wii U will be a bad investment because of Sony and MS's future consoles, I think you're going to be shocked by how far off those systems are. There's a reason MS focused on Kinect and Sony focused on Move/3D this E3, their in it for the long-term.
As Sega 16's resident Nintendo fan (I love them just as much as Sega. The DS is perhaps my favorite system ever, and I still believe Super Mario Galaxy is this generation's best game, although Uncharted 2 comes close), I thought the Wii U was intriguing but missed big opportunities.
The controller is not the most attractive piece of hardware around, but the functionality concepts alone have me excited for it. At first I though having a screen on your controller would merely mean DS gameplay for a console, but it's obvious that in practice it's much more. Little things like aiming the controller at the screen and getting a different view of the action looks fantastic.
This was a smart move by Nintendo. Even if the Wii U is just on par with the 360 and PS3 it still offers plenty of advantages not seen elsewhere. They looked at the tablet market and capitalized on it. They're smart, this is how Nintendo operates.
I for one, am very excited about the Wii U. Even the name doesn't seem that silly to me (the Wii is going to college!). But I was disappointed that no real first-party games were shown at the show. Sure there were tech demos and a couple of third-party announcements, but where were the killer apps? That was disappointing. Learning that a new Smash Bros, Pikmin 3, and New Super Mario Bros Mii are all being developed doesn't count. And the Zelda HD cinematic indicates nothing. Remember the Zelda demo shown for the Dolphin/Gamecube? Exactly.
That's something that worries me. Nintendo unveils its new console, and all it has to show are some tech demos and video footage of 360/PS3 games? It's no wonder the company's stock dropped 5% after the conference. I think they showed the console too soon, because now no one will really be thinking of it (there's nothing to talk about except the controller) until the next big conference, when hopefully they'll have some actual games to show. Nintendo is really going to have to blow everyone's mind to get some steam rolling for this console. Everywhere I read, everyone is intrigued but not excited.
Also worth noting regarding Nintendo: They made videos available for each big 3DS E3 title on the 3DS eShop. I downloaded each video, and the difference between seeing the games in 3D and viewing the 2D trailers online is pretty stunning. Super Mario 3DS in particular looks gorgeous. I'm predicting that will be the "Avatar" for 3D games.
The only thing that intrigued me about this E3 was the Vita. It looks cool and I hope it will make PSP prices go down enough so I could buy one. That Rayman game looked cool, too. Mark's coverage has been excellent so far.
I'm worried that the Vita's back touch panel will prevent me from getting a tight grip on the console, without accidentally activating something I didn't mean to. It looks sexy as hell, and the price point is right (I might even spring for the 3G console, as I'm with AT&T), but I will need to know a little more before I commit.
I want a double Vita with cheese... and maybe some nachos.
I have been hanging out for the Space Marine game. Last night (or was it the night before) on the "current affair" show they had a quick story about E3 and they had some lout dressed up as a Space Marine. I have seen the demo's from last year, any further progress or just the same "later this year"?
Oh yea they spoke about the Wii U tablet-y thing, that looks juuusst great. So instead of smacking your spouse/loved ones in the head with a small chunk of plastic (wii-mote) you get to do a proper job with a big chunk of plastic.
