The actuall arcade cabinet is one of my all time favorite video games on any system, but I really don't like either of the 16 bit ports.
Its utter shit without a light gun.

It's one of the only games that is playable with the menacer, and that's all I care about.
Although I agree, I loved this game at the arcades. Just as much as I did Revolution X. Too bad the latter never had even a half-decent port on any Sega console.
It's above decent; though I did quite like the GB port when I played it during a school lunchhour. That was YEARS ago, mind - so no doubt it's crap. ;)
I got this back in 1993 or 1994. Very fun game, and well worth it.
Seems like the game plays better with a control pad, the shitty Menacer is very inaccurate, and the cursor hangs up sometimes. The only way I've been able to get enjoyable Menacer play in on T2 is via a very small 13 inch TV.Quote:

Does anyone here have any experience with the SNES port of T2?
I do, the Super Scope is a shoulder hurting, migraine inducing mess. Its hard to enjoy a game when you are in pain and your eyes feel like they want to fall out of your head.
That said, you can play it just fine with the mouse on the SNES. Its a much prettier game on that system too.
I have the game on SNES and enjoy it quite a bit. I do wish I had the arcade cabinet though.
I've always liked the Genesis version, and I've never played it with a Menacer. The arcade version was one of my faves back in the day.
I loved the MD version when I had it as a kid but not so much now, don't think its aged that well
The Menacer was adequate as a light gun, and was best played without any of the included kibble.
Now if we're talking demo carts, the one that came with the Super Scope made the one that came with the Menacer look like a joke.

I don't any 16-bit title aged well in 2011.
