What do you think about this game ?
It was never released in Europe or Japan.

Althought this game appeared in the end of the Genesis commercial period, it seems rather bad.
OK it is gore and violent and 2 players but is it fun to play ?
its decent with a patch of difficulty to get threw
It isn't the best game ever but I wouldn't call it bad (though some bosses are really mean)... Avoid playing as the monster guy though, his default weapon sucks >_>
I like it, but yeah it's a pretty tough game. The SNES version looks a bit better and they both play about the same, so if you have a choice go with the Super version.
Terrible game.
I liked it when it was new, but nowadays I don't feel like playing a game with these kind of graphics. Not as fun as I remember either.
I liked the Snes game, but it has probably aged bad like some say here.

I have only seen it played extensively with cheats. The Genesis game has some decent effects using the shadow effect, I haven't played much of the SNES version. For Genesis Run n Guns I'd put it at the bottom of the barrel.

It's a OK game i would not say one of the best games out there.
Like the others have said, it's okay and it's also tough. I mainly only play it for the two-player mode. Some of the jumps are extremely difficult with two players, though. I also dislike the fact that ducking is worthless as a defense.
By the way, the game's two characters are also in the B-movie "Mutant Chronicles", which I really enjoyed.
Didn't think much of it; kinda generic and bland.
Maybe there was an European version... I live in a small country, but I have played this game by cartridge.
Doom Troopers is in my personal "Genesis' Top 20". At least the game brings adrenaline, "Adrenaline Entertainment" knew what they were about.
