up for sale is my sega neptune this is a relist of this item.



it plays 32x games and sega genesis games its a really nice system. also some games may not work on the system its not nothing wrong with the system, but it just the way it is. its a in compatbilty things. as far as i know it plays about 95% of 32x ans genesis games sio you shound not ran into no problems at all.



im working on putting a av mod on it with white and yellow jack. they are not listed on here i will put them on right after this listing is over. i will take the money i make out of you and buy av jacks from the store and install them on your system. you will only be able to use av jacks to hook up to your sega neptune to the tv only. never again you will use the old sega cable cord.

it comes with one 32x game and 4 sega genesis game here are the names, 32x metal head,NHL 94 ,hardball 3,NHL 95, F22 interceptor and joe montanda sports talk football.

also people had been asking me can you hook up sega cd on to this system, the anwser is no. the 32x motherbourd covers the spot were you plug in the sega cd at so you will not be able to play sega cd with this system.

yes this system only use one power cord and one cable cord. the system dose not have the dust flaps for the carts just so you know.

the power swich is replace with the slide in and out kind, the old one did not work at all. lets see 64 24 awg internet wires that powers the system and play 32x and genesis.

Im a little confused. Didnt this get bids last time? If it has a reserve at all on it I hope it doesnt sell at all. Reserves are for people who dont know how to use ebay. Start your bid at the lowest ammount you're willing to except and be done with it.

I'm not sure its wise to have the machine part way through a mod whilst selling it, consider if the mod goes wrong leading to a delay, or you end up severely damaging the system?
I'm not questioning that your solder skills aren't top notch in any way but you need to think of eventualities like this, we can all make mistakes, and theres no guarantee to a potential buyer. Personally I'd offer it to the buyer as an option.
$200 seems a bit steep, but I wish you the best of luck, just be careful as some buyers might be cautious.

Yeah, reserve auctions absolutely suck and they speak in volumes that the seller is deceitful. If you want to sell the item at a high price, don't put it on a reserve auction like a douchebag. Use Buy-It-Now with a Best Offer option. All the pro scalpers use it!

Well my friend I had 3 yaers of soldering so far i did not go to any school just self tech. i had good times and bad times and over the years when i frist start soldering i mess up soo moeny genesis system and 32x and other relative things as well. i can say that i came a long way from the fall of 2008. the only soldering now i dont understand is ps2 mod chips. when you gotta solder the wires on to fine legs on a ic chip or the main processer chip. i done genesis2 region swichs and they are easy next to ps2 slim. the trick is to know what best.

the neptune system im selling will be more like 100% then what i said. the reason i said that some games may not play is becuase they have been people swho had problems.
right after somebody wins this item i will need to replace the two white cables they are 1 of the problems. the other which i done is i found that all the 32x contacts and wires need to be tape covert that makes games boot 100%. So i fix that, and now got the 2 white cables that are bent were they makes some games load and some dont. that will be fix. with the money i will be getting after someone wins. i will use some of it to put on av mods and replace the white cables. and to get new white cables im gonna have to buy a new 32x system take and those cables out and put them on the neptune and there you go.

the 200 is for laber and parts. the $100 shipping for non us people is to make sure and cover for tracking and coverage. uk and all them areas cost alot of money.

$60 starting bid is for the money i think will be more fine for this and base on the people who email me the more bidders i get the more money grows.

well 200 may be too much i may adjust to 150.

Also throwing this out there. This is the only custom neptune i've ever heard of not being able to use the sega cd connector. That alone devalues it greatly.

You're taking away the ablitiy to play the Sega CD, a system that actually had good games in favor of the 32x which is notorious for sucking?

the 32x bourd is in the way, you cant fit it on with out moving
the 32x bourd. you can see by the way is it, any person will know that. if someone did find a way to fit a sega cd with a neptune maybe they can tell me how.

It probably only looks like it's in the way. The 32x board will cover the expansion slot but not enough to make it not work with the sega cd. I had no issues with the sega cd attachment at all.

Yea, no way I would ever list an item like this unless it was 100% complete and with no faults. Very risky to not have this complete and hope to finish after the end of the auction with no problems. Not to mention you are making the person who buys it wait even longer before you are able to ship it.
