Any one have a list of all the Disney games that came out for the Genesis?
Am I missing something or reading that page wrong? How is that a complete list?
where is Pocahontas, Jungle Book, toy Story, the 2 Beauty and the Beast games, and I don't even think that's all of them.
I don't think a full list exists due to the unlicensed/pirated games that are out there, but this is from what I know and there might be a couple missing:
Sega:
Castle of Illusion
Quackshot
World of Illusion
The Little Mermaid (Sega of America)
TaleSpin (Sega of America)
Bonkers (Sega Club)
Virgin:
Aladdin
The Jungle Book
The Lion King
Other companies:
Goofy's Hysterical History Tour
The Great Circus Mystery starring Mickey and Minnie (Capcom)
Mickey's Ultimate Challenge
Toy Story (Traveller's Tales)
Mickey Mania (Traveller's Tales)
Beauty and the Beast: Roar of the Beast (Software Creations)
Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Quest (Software Creations)
Gargoyles (based of the cartoon)
Donald in Maui Mallard (Brazil/Europe only)
Pocahontas
Fantasia (Infogrames)
Pirated/unlicensed:
A Bug's Life (a port of a Game Boy game that was originally done by Tiertex)
Mulan
The Lion King 2
The Lion King 3
Hercules 2 (a port of the PS1 game)
Squirrel King (it has Chip and Dale and is based off the Chip n Dale: Rescue Rangers games on the NES)
Also there are a few title hacks around Russia such as Cars.
Pocahontas is a true hidden gem, it’s actually a very good game.
I'm glad to hear that. I know its Disney's most controversial film and a lot of people hate it but as a stand alone film ignoring all that I've always liked it. It helps that the story literally takes place in my back yard. The James River (alla "Just around the river bend") is ten minutes walking distance from me right this second. and yes. Yes we have sung it annoyingly loud in a canoe on the river.
The Lion King and Aladdin win. Close this thread.
+1

Did you really come from the Nintendo side, didn't you? 'Cause sometimes you really show some of your ignorance about the Genesis/MD library.
The Great Circus Mystery starring Mickey and Minnie and that whole series of Capcom's Mickey 16-bit games are plain tosh. The 3 games (just one on Genesis/MD, the others for SNES/SFC) are almost equal.
Quackshot is far superior in many aspects, some that Capcom tried to reuse in their tosh series of Mickey games.
Some others that you called "tosh" are good games, maybe better than The Great Circus Mystery starring Mickey and Minnie in some aspects.
Pinocchio is also conspicuously absent from that list, BTW.
Quackshot doesn't have the charm of Castle of illusion. The controls feel a little sluggish, and the levels weren't appealing to me.
As for capcom, I always had a soft sport for Capcom Disney games...what does that have to do with nintendo?
The Mullard game or whatever is on both Snes and Sega.
How can Quackshot be defined as tosh?? It has everything a good game should have!
Great level design, some puzzles, well animated and colorful graphics, and catchy music. The weapon upgrades are a nice touch, too!
