Title says it all. Well, most of it. I don't care for or need a box, etc. Just the console, controller, power cord. A game or so would be nice too.

I doubt anyone has one for sale but, they're pretty cheap on ebay these days. You can get one for around $100 unboxed.
The question is why you need one? You could spend money on a Duo.
They have completly different games and while the FX doesnt have a huge and vast library it does have some defanitive versions of games. It also has a hand full of exclusives. They're at least 10 must own games for the system which is reason enough to own one if you can get it on the cheap. FX emulation sucks. And to my knowledge FX emulation doesnt work on win 7 at all since magic engine is the only thing to support it and it doesnt work with win 7 disk mounting software.
I used to sell them. Unfortunately, I can't help you right now. Have you signed up over at PCEngineFX.com? You might have better luck, there. I assume you are on there. I think I've seen your name there before! Could be wrong. Anyway, good luck in your search. Try not to pay more than $120 for the system with hook-ups and a controller, plus shipping. I would have said $100, but with the US dollar doing terribly in comparison with the yen, I think you should expect to pay a bit more now.

If you REALLY like manga games, have a fetish for anime FMV fighting games, like Battle Heat, or absolutely NEED to play a good version of Langrisser II or the single shoot 'em up on the system, then there are not 10 must haves on the system.
It's a niche or collector system that was already outdated when it was released, even in Japan. Despite all that, I still like the console.
I can get disc-games to work on Magic Engine on my computer using mounting software. I am running Windows 7. Both the original disc-based version of Sapphire and the image of it on my computer work just fine. :pQuote:

I already have a SGX+SuperCDROM2+Arcade card, a briefcase PCE+CD, and a Duo (well, CD drive doesn't work). I don't think I need another PCE system setup ;)
Mednafen has better PCFX emulation than Magic Engine.Quote:

I would like to code for the console. Do some RE'ing for emulator authors. Maybe even play a few games ;)Quote:

Yeah, I'm at PCEngineFX (different name) but I haven't seen any in the PCFX sales forum.Quote:

Maybe Tats can help you? Super Potato usually has them for around 6000yen. I don't know what he'd add on to that, or if he even has the time to run around like that with his family and job that requires a fair bit of travelling. Wouldn't hurt to ask him, though. He's a pretty good guy.
