Piracy: Justifiable or Not?
I'm definitely interested in picking up a copy of Pier Solar if there's a reprint run.
However -- this is a rhetorical question -- what happens when these new games people are making go completely out of production? At what point is it going to be morally acceptable (from the production companies' perspectives) for these to be freely available for download in some form? (And this is still ignoring the anti-piracy measures that have been put into place on the carts/ROM data.)
I just think it's an intriguing moral question -- I'm not advocating depriving these people of their hard-earned money.
