Tz101, you're right, all I have are assumptions because you won't tell us why you were banned. I don't need to link to threads, because we both know what rule you kept knowingly breaking over there, whether it got you banned or not. All I know is that AA has hundreds of happy users, and a couple of people who have a problem with the place. It suggests that the problem is yours, not ours. Unless you give us some evidence to back up your claims, it's all just slander. Quite frankly, you seem to think that anyone who publicly disagrees with you is persecuting you, so you don't have a lot of credibility. There are people at AA who are true trolls in my opinion and are definitely NOT in the "in" crowd that you think exists, and the most I've seen done to them was a public warning and a temp-ban. You must have really pissed someone off.
EDIT: You called AA "despicable" and "beyond ugly", and yet you continued to read and post there. Up until you got banned. If I think a place (real or virtual) is ugly and despicable, I don't need a foot to help me out the door. But yeah, it isn't sour grapes or anything, right? Everything there was totally cool until you got attacked and then banned by some troll moderator. I have no doubt that that's exactly what happened.

AA - I know nothing about TZ claims. I just know my own experience with the forum. Serious NES hate from over there. C64 hate too (my god...). Many, many members blame Nintendo for the fall of Atari and the failure of the 7800. The forums I can't read anymore are the 7800, Lynx, and A8 computer. I never went in to the Jag forums, but I knew better. It's not overly run with shit talking, but it's there along with overly ignorant and arrogant members. Though they tend to reside in the dedicated forums. And there's definitely idol (member) worshiping. Better not have a conversation with said idol members unless it's full of praise, else their groupies come out to attack you. I can understand an Atari bias (after all, it's an Atari forum), but sometimes is just gets ridiculous. I mainly restrict myself to the Classic gaming area and don't visit too often anymore. The only really good thing to come from AA is that they helped identify some prototype Atari carts that I had obtain, and I sold them there. If you don't have an intense love for Atari, the forum probably isn't for you, sadly.
DP - it's a decent forum. I restrict myself to the classic gaming area. It usually doesn't take itself too seriously, but like any other forum the drama or intense threads pop up. There's this one guy, Tom, that loves the SMS and Atari and HATEs anything NES related. You can usually find him subtly trolling threads that give any NES games praise. Other than that, there's quite a bit of range of love for different systems. I like that. A good amount of Genesis/MD fans over there too, so it's not too lop sided for SNES (NES, probably. But who doesn't love the NES :P ).
PCFX - There used to be serious drama there a few or so years ago, and it was quite active back then. Now, it's much more quite. Fans are very dedicated to the console (it's mostly TG16/PCE), but I'd say almost all the members own other systems as well (Genesis, SNES, whatever). It's not as active as it used to be, but a lot of good information to be found there. Also, there's not special requirement to get in. They just take forever to approve people's registrations. I guess this is a good thing if it prevents trolls.
NA - I've only ever visited the homebrew section. And only a few times. Seemed pretty nice atmosphere for aspiring nes coders.
Gamefaqs - I don't know anything about this forum, other than moronic rejects tend to leave and find other forums that I visit. I really can't imagine what that place must be like (the rumors really paint a bad picture of that place).
Also, what's up with people using the term 'sour grapes'. Someone has a grape fetish.
I'm not trying to start drama, and I'm not the one who's "butt-hurt". I didn't start this thread, and I didn't start talking about tz101's situation at AA. tz himself did both. Kinda makes one wonder why he started this thread in the first place. One he rung the bell by bitching about it, he invited the opinions of others. For the love of Zeus, the regulars at the neo-geo forums are terrible. I went there to ask a simple questions about the AES motherboard, and I got flamed and mocked multiple times in the first page of two of the thread. So, a big middle finger to those assholes. There was one or two decent people I found there, but they are overshadowed by the spawns of Satan that seem to hang out there.
I've never bothered with Nintendoage. From what I read there, I guess I won't be.
Considering that I see you on there a lot, aren't you hardcore and don't like to get pissed off? :D Then again, I barely post there. I mainly love the chatbox and the "obey" threads. They're pretty funny. Come to think of it, I'm not even on the chatbox much... I just have fun when I go there every now and then.Quote:

The rest of NG.com can go to hell though. What a horrible place. The ONLY reason I even signed up there was because of the marketplace.
