Hell yeah, Rad Mobile! One thing I loved about that game was the headlights and windshield wiper buttons. Plus it looked absolutely great.
I wish it got a proper console port. Gale Racer wasn't that great.
For me, trying to find a quality arcade shooter is tough. It's like finding a needle in a hay stack. I ain't kidding. Some may think I'm gone mad, and others may try to recommend me one of 1000 vertical shooters that repeat a single freaking formula every time. These vertical shooters have no personality, no interesting stage design, and no atmosphere to speak of. They insist on throwing 1000 bullets at you, and half of them you can't even dodge. The player is forced to use bombs to overcome towering bosses, and in the end, the satisfaction is not there. I've Mame and the complete R__set, and I have tried many vertical shooter, and after a while, they all start to blend together. The most fucked up part is that people actually enjoy these games. For me, I have no love for these mindless and soulless Arcade shooters. They are trash, garbage, or whatever you wanna label em. This is why I was never a fan of maniac arcade shmups. They just don't have the distinct feel, or personality of classic shmups. However, there are some quality arcade shooters that have been forgotten, and deserve more attention than these mediocre vertical shooters. I am talking about Konami's Thunder Cross series. The long forgotten classic series that deserves a revival.

While I'm not a super fan of Shmup games, I must say Aero Fighters is an excellent vertical shmup. I actually prefer it to its sequel even....
I was lucky enough to live near an arcade which had the deluxe sit-down tilting cabinet. Being a huge fan of Outrun and Turbo Outrun, I was all over Rad Mobile from the first time I saw it. Dumped many quarters into it and eventually was 1 credit clearing it every time.Quote:

Alot of Neo fans hate this game because it's not really related to the previous 2 but its a great game.
