That is so true...
My take on collecting variants:
1. If I have a variant in my possession, I'll keep it.
2. If the variant I have in my possession is the inferior version (i.e.-cardboard box), then I'll purchase the superior version as well.
3. If I own the superior version already, I see no reason to buy the lesser version (unless it's $1 or less at a local play n trade--and Sealed!).
4. Working Designs sometimes gives me nightmares. I'm torn.
When I goes in gaming I prefer to have games both in CIB/NIB and loose cart.
NIB/CIB copies are stored for preservation purposes, whilst cart only areused for normal gaming.
I wish I had an industrial disc sander.
Let me rephrase that:
I wish I had an industrial media disc resurfacing machine.
(as in the one that costs tens of thousands of dollars).
Yeah. Itīd be cool.
Rohen's photographic atlas is the number 1 resource for cadaver lab.
And weīve reached a new day...
The only real way to know if you've got a legit MVS cart is to take it apart and examine it.
...and examine the ROM contents
...and then smash it if it's a bootleg.
...then burn it and file the seller.
...Then buy the exponentially more expensive AES version.
but when you discover itīs a bootleg as well...
