You don't look like a Jackal
Cat is smoking pot again.
"A Link to the Past" was the best Zelda game ever.
IMO, "Link's Awakening" is the best.
I like the one where you finally learn Zelda's a lesbian and Link's devolved to writing screenplays in a run down Hollywood hotel.
I've not heard of that one.
Charles Manson is my father.
Zelda II is the best Zelda game ever made, past, present, and future.
Link's Awakening is superior (imho).
Super Metroid was the best Metroid game.
Well of course, there's no disagreeing with that.
There is only one true king, and everyone knows his name.
Duke Nukem.
I seem to have the habit of killing threads.
If you give me all of your money, good things will happen.:D
UK Customs can suck my balls.
The Sega Saturn is the king of 32-bit.
The Wii is a terrible terrible system, but a modded Wii is brillant.
Video games are more important than anything else in existence.
I like chicken.
The Marketplace in the second world in "Secret of Evermore" always makes me hungry for some reason.
In the eyes of the true 2D retro gamer, the Sega Saturn was the spiritual successor of the Neo Geo AES.
The System 16 is much better than the NEOGEO
The Sega Master System is very underrated, especially in North America. If you don't have one, you really need to pick one up. And if you're still not impressed, then you probably need to go and buy some more games for it!:)
omg your so rwong, the libary is a POS!
I continue to be surprised more and more with every 8-bit game I play. Right now, I'm developing a passion for the Sega Game Gear I didn't even know was possible.
QSF is far too genial and gracious for his avatar.
I can't disagree with anything posted in this thread.
Ascii made good, decent controllers.
Vitalogy was a better album than Ten.
JRPGs are boring; except the odd few (ex. Chrono Trigger).
American RPGs are even more boring.
True. Freeform ones though, like Skyrim, as buggy as they are, are fantastic though.
"Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord" and "Dungeons & Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun" were the best American RPGs ever.
I've not played them; what formats they on?
Ok, I'll grab the roms for each and try 'em tomorrow; if I like, I'll add 'em to my games-to-buy list. Thanks :).
No problem. Wizardry is a dungeon crawler that originally came out for the Apple II in 1981, and it's pretty much the game that got Japan interested in RPGs.
Dungeons and Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun has both an overhead view, and first person dungeons. Hint: Buy a "Sling" for everybody when you go to the weapon shop, they're awesome for attacking enemies from a distance, because if you get too close to most enemies when you're on a low level, they can kill you in no time. Once you level up and start exploring, it gets quite fun. I beat it a long time ago.
