Who's that guy.
He came to Denver last Thursday. I was thinking of maybe going, but then I saw a video from one of his previous shows. Everyone was singing and dancing to the Neo Geo song and despite my geek factor, that goes waaaay too far across the geek line for me. I was actually repulsed by it despite that I generally like the guy (though his shtick of falling down and doing Borat-style stuff is getting tiresome). Plus, we shoot Game Sack on Thursday evenings. If it would have been a simple meet and greet I would have been more likely to go.
I think I would have gotten him to sign something even more random. Like a basketball or a boat anchor. Copy of the Bible.
Cool, you made it worth less.
^Indeed.
Luckily. It goes away with a little rubbing alcohol. But you gotta do it fast.
I love Nathan. But I'd love my Trouble Shooter a lot more. At any rate, it's just the plastic case, it's not like it was done on the paper insert or the manual or the cart label. And, besides, it's a tab-less clamshell, so the harm was minimal. ;)
i got it for $8. so i guess it's worth $7.95 now. and yeah its just the clamshell so big deal. next time ill get him to sign my copy of battle mania daikaoaeunuinrg just to piss internet trolls off.
i dont think he was familiar with trouble shooter. he looked at the box and said "whoa, babesch". super nice guy too, and genuinely funny besides the silly songs (which were fairly funny too). my friend anthony (RUN/DMG) showed up with his game boy full of chip tunes and keith let him play them during the meet n greet. and i gave him a cassette of my mega man cover band (reverbnation.com/megamantheband), which he was really stoked for; we package the tapes in nes boxes.. like this

btw, love game sack man!
i've read these message boards and have loved sega 16 for like 2 years and have never signed up... because people are retarded and always just say negative dumb shit like "cool, you just made it worth less" just for the sake of being a negative twat. it's a ten dollar sega game. really.
why not just say "cool!" or don't say anything at all?
i like talking to people about gaming and being part of the gaming community, but something about gamers just turns them into negative little assholes. maybe you need to go out side. maybe you need to hang out in a real social environment so you get over your social retardation. way to have a community. maybe ill just go back to reading the posts...
You seem to be taking it pretty well.
hahahaha, coming from the guy that has posts dedicated to his trolling abilities! i must admit, i get some good chuckles out of your brilliant responses
Don't mind Kogen. I guess he is mad everyone always forgets about Tails. This is a great community, don't let a few bad apples stop you from visiting.
Keith Apicary is a cool dude. Love his videos.
haha yeah thanks. there are a lot of informative people on the site, but something about trolls just rubs me wrong!
i can see what joe is saying about the keith show being embarrassingly nerdy, the first song i was feeling kinda embarrassed for being there hahaha, but he is such a honestly funny comedian and has so much energy his stage presence gets the best of you and you start having a blast. i was having fun and he fed off that and he jumped on me, so i picked him up and people started crowd surfing him. he really knows how to get a crowd to have fun, even the stiff nerdy types that have never been to a show (like at a rock and roll bar or whatever) started loosening up after the third song and ppl were having a blast. he really had to try too, people were being resilient to loosening up, but he is such a character that by halfway thru everyone was partying down. being in a rock and roll band myself, stage presence is all important, and when the crowd reacts, THAT'S when the real fun starts!
(this was one of our most fun shows)

Another Trouble Shooter fan :ok: Welcome to the club ;). About signing the clamshell, Rainbow for each. I wouldn't have my complete copy of my favorite game signed by just anyone, maybe someone who worked on the game.
On the other hand,

Before anyone kills me, the label had fallen off of Streets Of Rage 2 and Trouble Shooter had a ripped label with stickers on it.
I had him sign my backup model 2 Genny.
Pretty sure this won't raise the value of the game in ANY way, but nice.
Honestly mate what do imagine a real social environment consists of? I wish I could enter a coffeehouse where there were only 1 ((insert whoever irks you most)). Don't demand everyone be phony. But don't either just go back to reading the posts...The less others are posting >> the less I'm reading >> the more I'm posting >> the less others are reading. See the consequences?
Talk about devaluing a item. This guys a no talent hack. All of his so called "personalities" are the same fucking guy.
I wasn't being negative, I just thought it was hysterically random to get him to sign Trouble Shooter.
Thanks djshok :) Once again though, the credit goes to mrbigreddog. I just removed what was left of the old labels (especially hard for Trouble Shooter) and adhesie the new labels. Wonderful guy to work with. I also asked him to make the TSV insert you created for my copy of Daiginjou. Thank you as well for creating it :ok:.
yeah those labels look rad.. its like you're re-japping it hahaha! and i thought Nunzio's post was funny
My only signed item is an Atari VCS signed by Nolan Bushnell. It's in mint condition with all original parts.
I got the sign on an special event in 2011 Colombian Campus Party.
Here's the picture, i'm the weird guy at the far right:

I know, I know, it's a forum about Sega, but also it's a thread about signed items :P
I'd get Chris Covell to sign my copy of Flicky. I think that would be really cool.
I wouldn't mind having Yuji Naka sign any of my Sonic the Hedgehog copies, or Yu Suzuki any of my Shenmue copies. I'd probably ask of them to sign on paper, though. Perhaps on the first page of the manuals for subtlety.
i have literally heard of none of the people you're all talking about in this thread.
HURRAY
A signed copy of SoR by Yuzo Koshiro would be cool.
That would be cool. If I had an Out Run arcade machine, I'd have Yu Suzuki sign the CRT screen.
The Nolan Bushnell-signed VCS is cool, at least that's somewhat relevant.
Wow, Keith can write?!
