Sorcerer's Kingdom is "great"? I don't know that I'd even call it "good" -- to me, it's in the "okay" to "decent" range. It's got some creative ideas, and I give it credit for being an unusually frustration- and annoyance-free RPG. But it's an easy, bland game with a bog-standard plot, average atmosphere and music, and a lot of typos in the menus and dialogue. Once you get past the beginning, the game practically plays itself.Quote:

Hehehe, okay, maybe not EVERY RPG for the PSOne, but you gotta admit, RPG localizations were flowing in like crazy since the success of FF VII. It's just that about less than half of them were actually any good. I guess you could call it market saturation?Quote:

I will say it again, if the poll was "which system had a greater quantity of top rated/popular RPGs" the SNES would win hands down. Unfortunately we are talking about the subjective "best RPGs."

At the time I was hanging on to the last thread of hope that people liked to learn and loved facts and knowledge. They broke me of that hope.
