"Who the fuck designs a police station this way?"
A mansion with crazy ass locks and puzzles, kind of makes sense. A police station using the same crazy ass puzzles and picture-coded keys does not. And when was the last time you saw a full sized library in a police station?
Sounds like this is a good thread for posting WTF moments in gaming. I've got a good one, how about in the NES Castlevania games where you find food in the walls? Why would somebody hide a pork chop in some dusty brick wall?

It amuses me that a key or a typewriter ink ribbon takes up the exact amount of pocket space as a shotgun.
Well, when you get used to the heavy realism of today’s gaming, going back to old school stuff you can find a lot of things that don’t make any sense and feel weird.
I think you find a document in RE2 that says the police station used to be a Museum and was recently being converted over to a Police Station.
I know, right? In 1993 it seemed perfectly reasonable that a space marine could in fact hold a pistol, a shotgun, a chaingun, a rocket launcher, two advanced heavy plasma weapons, ammo for all of the above and a chainsaw. You didn't question why, you just killed everything in sight! It also didn't seem on bit odd that your weapons had infinite clip capacity. If you had 400 bullets for your pistol, you had a 400 bullet clip!Quote:
