Nucking Fintendo Nanboys are by far the most entertaining. It blows the mind how easy they are to enrage. Check out the CGR reviews of Ocarina of Time and Cosmic Carnage. In the OOT review, Mark (obviously joking) says something along the lines of CC being a better game. The comments on that review and the CC one are priceless. They have no sense of humor. To piss them off you can just say "insert Nintendo game name is not the best thing mankind has ever created". Aside from Kogen, I don't often see Sega fans ignorantly attacking the SNES. We seem to be a more mature community as a whole than any nintendo forum.

Kogen is a troll, and is simply re-enacting the way both Sega and Nintendo fans respond to eachother (in an exaggerated way). Sega fanboys are no better or more mature. It just seems that way because you're right in the middle of a sega-minded community. Nintendo fans will say the same thing about Sega fans on their forum.

i always liked the 2d nintendo games but hated mario 3d, and zelda 3d

its sacrilege to say that on the internet

everyone has their own taste and opinions- i loved the GBA but hated the DS and loathe the 3DS
loved the gamecube, hate the wii

obviously prefer the mega drive over the SNES- but love and owned both- still have both collecting dust

I loved the GB and thought it was the best handheld back in the day. Sure it had the worst hardware but it was the cheapest handheld, great first and 3rd parrty support, great on batteries and it wasn't a huge, gaudy system. As for the SNES vs. Genesis clearly the media here was in Nintendo's corner hell they repin Nintendo hard until the GCN came out. But the Genesis and SNES sales were close except in Japan were Nindento mopped the floor with Sega.

If the SNES did nothing innovative then why did Sony use the SNES design for the PSx? Why did Sega go from there design to a more Nintendoesque controller for the DC.(it sucked btw)
Nintendo was the first company to integrate digital and analog controls into one unit and throw in the memory card. Sega took it a step further with the VMU which was a great idea but never took off.

I think alot of these debates that come up between fanboys because both size are biased and majority will not admit it. I prefer Sega to Nintendo I do think that I am extremely moderate compared to most. I was a diehard fanboy when I was a child and a teen. I am grown azz man and I have no need for this fanboy shit anymore.

I was a big SEGA fanboy even getting into physical fights with Sony fanboys. But, I'm not blind. Just some people never grow out of their fanboyism and actually let it cloud their mind. In the grand scheme of things, neither console really matters and it's more what appeals to you and that you try games on all consoles even if you have to wait 10-15 years later to enjoy them for what they were. A good game will still be amazing if it ages well and you can see that everything has it's strengths and weaknesses. Because being on one side of the fence only tells part of the story of what is really going on in the industry.

And for your information, these days I prefer the SNES to the Mega Drive anyway, mainly as a result of hanging around here for too long I fear :(
