Not the first time I've heard of this thing but no I've never actually seen one.
I remember playing a lot of the original Super Mario Bros. in the arcade though.
Its been years but yes I have.

They have one though I have never played it before.
I've never seen one of those. I did recently repair a Nintendo Vs system with Super Mario Bros in it though.
I loved the Vs system games. That's how I first played Castlevania.
No, I've never seen this particular iteration before. And I've also never seen a D-Pad based arcade in my life either, not even in pics.
But I've seen this:
I have back in the mid 90s at a roller skating rink near my cousins house near Olympia Washinton.
I seem to remember it having Super Mario World, Gradius or R-type, and some other games (I just don't remember what they were)
Never saw one of them, but I have played the Playchoice-10!
I remember seeing one but I don't remember where??? I may have only seen a flyer for it. I had a buddy who owned an arcade back in the day and I'd see the flyer's he'd get.
@ Baloo nice, I like the Playchoice-10s
We had a Playchoice-10 at one of the local skating rinks. Two of the more notable games this particular unit had were Gauntlet, and TMNT2: The arcade game.
I remember it, there was a diner that I still go to that used to have one. The controller was a little awkward since it was so large, but it was kind of a neat idea. I used to play NCAA Basketball and Super Tennis on it since those games ruled and I didn't have them on my SNES.
They later replaced it with a Neo Geo, and I played Fatal Fury 1 all the time.
They must have been somewhat common, because I came across them several times even though I'm pretty sure that we never got one in my hometown.
