Another one: why the "count to 15000" thread is over two years old and only reached around 1/3rd of its target, when in another forum a thread already surpassed 20000 posts in half a year, and that was without even trying? (then again I've seen that thread sometimes get over 60 pages a day, so that probably helped, although right now it has cooled down)
