The new Call of Duty is out and no one here is talking about it. I saw tons of people lining up to buy this game. Its refreshing to find a board here where people dont buy into the hype. Death to FPS's, modern style games where multiplayer is everything, and to all the pimply teenagers who play this stuff !

Yeah this is a huge game that will sell millions and no one here is talking about it. Whats the reason ? Well it seems there's mostly older people who post here but if older people didnt play COD then how would it sell so much ? Its hard to grasp and understand. The video game industry has clearly changed but I cant figure out how or why exactly. All I know is that once PC style games got on consoles all was lost. Microsoft ruined everything.
I couldn't give a flying fuck about COD or any other modern game for that matter. I play proper games with pixels and chip music.
I grew up on fantasy games. I have no interest in military/war games. Boring shit and its sad so many people are into it.
While everyone is playing yet ANOTHER military shooter, I will spend Veteran's Day weekend killing dragons in Skyrim!
Does anybody know whether Sonic Generation will work on my PC yet? Also, is there a reputable UK seller that will ship it to me for a reasonable price complete in box?
They still make those? CoD I mean.

There's nothing wrong with playing Call of Duty or Battlefield. If it was all you played, then yeah, it would be pretty lame. I haven't played online (excluding 1 round of the PC BF3 beta) in over 6 months, so I do plan on playing a little MW3. I also plan on playing Uncharted 3 as well.
Activision is not blameless, but it's the drones who are responsible for this cultural farce.
