Street Fighter Alpha. Why?

That is actually why I haven't bought Children of the Atom yet. I was too busy playing the later games and never got around to it. I have a soft spot for Children of the Atom though. Currently I only own Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter import.

Most Capcom fighters suffer from their added characters. Actually that goes for every fighter, 2 or 3 D.
@ sheath = Do get the JP version, the others I've heard more complaints about (graphics, sound). Don't play much Marvel anything, nor ever played the arcade, so can't weigh it myself.

Nope, it doesn't. Colossus, Cyclops, Iceman, Storm, Omega Red, Sentinel, Silver Samurai, Spiral are all missing. And that's 2/3 of X-Men CotA cast :p

You're right. It's been awhile since I've played COTA.

X-Men and Marvel Super Heroes are great fighting games on their own rights, and one is not a substitute for another. I prefer X-Men for it's great old school marvel feel.
I am not into the VS series though since Marvel and Capcom characters do not mix well IMO.
