Wow their little game is terrible. I wonder how they feel about Sonic saving animals.
I'm trying to think of an eloquent, colorful way of explaining to you all how much I hate PETA, but I can't. I fucking hate 'em and that's all I have to say about that.
...
On second thought, it's not all I have to say about it. I hope every one of you mindless fanatical fucks gets torn apart and devoured by the very animals you are trying so impotently to protect. I would create a skillion YouTube accounts just I could spam "likes" on a video of your president getting his nuts chewed off by a baby seal while getting skullfucked by a giant panda.
I think that's something we all wish for... The gift of irony. :D
So what the hell are we supposed to do, let bowser rape the princess? We need that damn racoon's skin. Stupid PETA.
Not trying to start a flame war at all, but I honestly do not get why people get so worked up about PETA. They are at least trying to do what they believe is the right and just thing to do (not that I really agree with their choice of actions or PR image), which I would argue is not such a bad thing in a world full of complacent people.
I mean if you think their message and what they are fighting for is stupid that's fine. I just don't understand the incredible animosity (pun intended) that most people get when they hear about PETA. IDK I guess its just hard for me to get mad at people who are trying to defend animals. I mean gorillas freaking rock! But regardless yeah the whole Mario bashing thing is beyond ridiculous. Its not as bad as those damn insurance commercials with that red headed Flo bitch, that crap should be illegal.
I don't think most people have a problem with their message, but rather their actions. going into high dollar clothing stores and throwing paint on expensive fur will do a lot to earn someone's ire. That sort of shock-activism doesn't really help their cause (if anything it hinders it, since said store now has to kill another animal to replace their fur... not to mention that throwing paint on fur doesn't un-kill the animal, it simply waste's its sacrifice), and, to me at least, it comes off at attention grabbing.
Well yeah it certainly is attention grabbing by design, but I don't really feel all that sympathetic toward the people that are selling fur coats either. I watched a thing on Mink farms about how they remove the fur from the animals it was incredibly disgusting. They were literally just peeling the animals like a damn grape while the animals gave off really shrill human like screams. Freaking disgusting if you ask me and totally unnecessary.
I think in the future people will look back at the way we have exploited animals in much the same we we today view slavery as being barbaric. But hey its a barbaric world I have no illusions about that. Always has been always will be its just the way it is.
BTW did anyone else hear about the western (I think?) Black Rhino being declared extinct? There are a few living in zoos still I guess, but that really sucks.
Someone once said to me "these animal rights people are pussies, just because we invented guns and clever ways to be ahead of the food chain doesn't mean we should remove ourselves from it"
thank about that for a second :')
I would argue that its our new and "clever" ways that have taken us farther off coarse of the natural food chain and actually played a key role in it's destruction. Also speaking of the food chain, we are within striking distance of increasing the acidity of the oceans to a level where corals, plankton, and other staples of the food chain will die off. These smaller organisms are basically the load bearing levels of the food chain, if they go they may take almost everything else with it.
Next, they'll go after Taito for all there Darius games on why hurting MECHANICAL fish is animal abuse!
I detest militant activism. Anyway it's interesting that every -ism ends up failing terribly. But surely there are things to go raging about worthier than PETA, Anonymous or Lulzec. The internet allows everyone to bitch and moan freely, and it's been "tolerated" because it seldom changes anything in the real world.
PETA, coming up with new ideas to highlight animal cruelty.
