Pictures of Model 2 Majesco Genesis MK-1451 Box, Console, Mobo

I know I promised these a while ago but I've been incredibly busy at college and didn't get a chance to get home for over a month to take these pics. Anyway, sorry for the wait and here's the pics to those I promised who were interested...Also, these first 5 pics are only a quarter of them. I want to make sure that they fit the size specs here on the forum since each one is a bitch to resize. I'll post the next half pretty soon here so long as these ones show up fine.

I don't think I took a picture of it, but I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that this variation was manufactured in 1997. So actually, you would think Sega would have been throwing in everything plus the kitchen sink with this late a Genesis considering the PlayStation and Saturn had already been out for a couple years. A model 2 Genesis manufactured that late baffles me but I also think it's what makes this one awesome.

Neat! Though why would they advertise Phantasy Star II on the back instead of IV...

Are these rare? There was one of these boxed at my local thrift for like $30 but I put off picking it up and it disappeared :(

I can see the pics on the first post. But on your 2nd through 5th posts when clicking the link it gives me this error:

This is about the last Genesis 2 revision manufactured around 1996... The links are bad for me too, if you need additional photos of this board for some reason let me know, I have 6 or 7 of them laying around :ok: ..

Ahh that sucks. I'm not sure if the Majesco model 2 is the most rare variation of the Genesis, however I do know it is relatively rare...That's ashame you didn't buy it from the thrift store. I would have loved to know if this variation came with a manual and other inserts in the box..When I bought mine (I'm not the original owner) it only came boxed with what you see in the pics; the Genesis itself, a 3 button controller, an AC power plug and the A/V cords...There may not have been advertising inserts but I'd have to imagine this variation at least came with a manual. I'm the collector type and love to have my stuff as complete as possible. Anybody else familiar with the Majesco Model 2 and what it came with?

Wow, that's weird. Anybody have any idea as to why this is happening and how I should go about reposting the pictures you cannot see? I have a feeling if I start a new thread and post 5 pictures at a time each in a new thread that would work, but that's really stupid and I'm sure the mods would rather I not do that. I would love for you guys that are interested to see the other pics I posted. Any ideas?
