It's one of those few post-16-bit games I've ever wanted to play more than twice. I actually enjoyed it thoroughly. I can't wait to get into the rest of the series, actually.
Buy Part 3 of MGS (Solid Snake) or Move along for now and buy a PS3+God of War 3+my first ever HDTV(which will obviously cost me a copious amount of money)?

Do you mean buy Solid Snake (for the NES or MSX, whichever) or buy a PS3/GoW3/HDTV? I'm going to ignore the "Part 3" part of your question, since I don't understand that, either.
The answer seems pretty clear to me. The "Subsistance" version of Metal Gear Solid 3 includes the 2 original MSX games (not the bastardized NES versions). I'm pretty sure that the version of MGS3 on the PS3 HD compilation disc is the Subsistance version. So there's your answer.

Dude, Snake Eater is an awesome game and can be had for pennies right now. Don't wait.
A: Next big purchase? Hmmm... I don't really plan big purchases, although the biggest one I'm anticipating making is a boxed original GameBoy (the one with the wireframe hands on the box). I'm just waiting to find one in good condition with the insert tray and hopefully the manuals, ear phones, and connector cable. I anticipate that will run me about $60.00.
But like I said, I don't plan for big purchases. I just excitedly make them on the fly when unexpected opportunities present themselves.

A: I can't decide btween Afterburner for 32X, Knuckles Chaotix or Mickey Mania or Raiden Trad for the Genesis. I can only buy 1 game per pay period in my budget so I'll have to do some weighing.
