Would you rather buy Microsoft Surface or some other future tablet(ish) thingy?

I'm not sold on tablets, especially as gaming devices, but I can see why others like them. I'd say "other future tablet(ish) thingy".

I wouldn't use it for playing video games. I'm thinking I'll wait even further for all those next gen tablets to get some reputation and let the market weed-out the bad ones.
