I play with a Model 1 VA6 with a Sega CD and 32X attached (well, no 32X for the mean time, my last one broke on me...)

X'eye region modded to play japanese carts and cds
My little no-frills Genesis 3. It takes up almost no space, and is small enough to take on trips if I feel the urge to.
Model 1(HDG) with Model 1 Sega CD attached. I also have a 32X, but I always put it back in its original box when I'm not using it.
TMSS Model 1 HDG with S-Video, RCA audio, region and overclock mods.
You forgot the Nomad. I generally use a Model 2 + Model 2 CD + 32X, so I chose Model 2. I also use my CDX quite a bit, and my Nomad from time to time.
No Wondermega?
Definitely my launch Genesis 1, but only with a 32X for the video output, and preferably with the Sega CD 1 for the audio output. My X'Eye sounds okay by comparison, just a lot softer on the bass especially. Genesis 2 Sega CD 2 combo are worse than that and I almost never use them and my Nomad is only used for testing or when I'm isolated in a cave at a relative's house.
A split twixt Model 2 and Model 1 VA6. The former has the better sound but that irritating old problem of AC disconnexion, hence the Model 1 gets about equal use.
PC
Model 2 with Sega CD. No frills.
Model 1 with a Sega CD attached to it and I do have a 32x but hardly ever bring it out of the box. I do love hooking it all up and watching my Sega hog every outlet like a beast!
Genesis Model 1, Sega CD Model 1, and the 32X is my setup. I always go with model 1. I like the retro look to it.
I'd prefer a Wondermega to an X'Eye for its S-Video. Same goes for a Laseractive if I ever get one.
