I bought mine from Vic Ireland and I believe that's what was stated in the auction at the time. Maybe reality is a combination of the two? Perhaps he imported them to be used as preorders but they never got sent out?

I just checked out my list on IGN. I haven't updated it in ages though, so it's probably worth more that what is listed.
