Anyone know of a list of games that require this expansion pak?
From memory, these games require the expansion pak:
-Zelda Majora's Mask
-Donkey Kong 64
-Perfect Dark
As far as US releases go, yeah those are the only 3 that need the expansion pak. (PD is an oddity though... Some of the game can be played with the Jumper Pak)
The expansion pak is not the same thing as the Memory pak.
Actually, you're thinking of the Controller Pak QuickSciFi...

The controller pak is the n64 equivalent of a memory card.
That's what I was going for. I figured the original post was asking for the memory card that inserts into the controller. The expansion pak has nothing to do with it.
If I knew exactly which JP exclusives used/required the expansion pak, then yeah I'd mention them too... But I don't, I've never been knowledgeable on international releases.
And who are you called a modern gamer?! We're on Sega-16 for cripes sake! And don't confuse the Expansion and Controller Paks with each other. (one saves progress with compatible games, the other is a RAM upgrade for game code)
EDIT: Some of you may find this useful:

Modern as in: "in the age of the internet"
Back in the 80's and early 90's it was excusable to be ignorant of international games, since at best we only got glimpses in the back pages of magazines.
And yeah, my bad, since the thread title says "memory pak" I'm thinking game save memory.
And then your's and QuckSciFi's exchange confused me further.
I got on a one-track-mind wondering if any games actually do require the Controller Pak. But I guess that's for a separate thread.
The Expansion Pak is required for half of Starcraft 64 (the Brood War half). Never understood why.
So are we only talking about games that at least partially require the expansion pak?
Because I know that the factor 5 starwars games make use of it for high res output, but it's not required to play through the whole game.
