If it comes from China, it's a crapshoot on the shipping. I ordered a laptop from WalMart's online site years back, and they sent me a message saying it was on its way... from China... by boat. I got it almost three months after ordering it from WalMart despite being marked "in stock".
But the Tototek problem is that I wasn't even allowed to choose better shipping, I was forced free shipping,which sucked.
Yeah, that sucks, but my laptop wasn't free shipping, it actually cost more than the tax on the whole thing and STILL took months to arrive! That's probably why he had mandatory free shipping - it was a recognition that unless you pay for FedEx Intl, NOTHING is going to make the shipping any better. I've had a few things arive in a week or two, and others take two to three months. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it... just the whims of the gods, I'm afraid.Quote:

I just tried to place an order, and when i get to confirm and be transported to paypal, paypal tells me im unable to finish.. I placed an order around christmas which went through, but it took several tries as the site, or at least my communication with it, was severly broken at the time.. But once he got back from the christmas break, i got a shipping confirmation and a week or two later my items arrived in Sweden well packaged. Im hoping the communication between the Tototek and Paypal site will resolve soon so i can order again. As for communicating with the actual people behind Tototek.com, i have never tried.
I ran into a crappy problem.
Apparently a signature was required for the little Everdrive sent by Tototek. So guess what, since I actually work, I missed the package.

Wow, I saw the package today.. What incredible POOR packaging! It was a envelope closed with string.. No tape to seal it..
Then to top it off, the Everdrive does NOT work.. Won't even boot the reserve OS.

I'm gonna file a complaint with Paypal, this is stupid. I wasted a lot of money for this..
The best way to get an Everdrive is either direct for bare boards, or from someone like StoneAgeGamer. SAG won't always have it in stock, but he does a good job of getting you a working ED with case and instructions and etc.
He didn't have it in stock at the time..
I'm probably going to put the dispute in to Paypal, get the money back, and then re-order from stone age gamer..
At least he's on the forums there and always in communication.
Thing is, I'm going to have to re-ship this dead cartridge back to Tototek, which will probably cost me a lot of money as it is, more than I even have in checking right now!! I'm poor, literally.
You shouldn't have to send it back, especially where you might not get a response due to him being on holidays. Best thing to do would be to immediately escalate the Paypal dispute to a "Paypal Claim". Once this is done, if he doesn't respond within 10 days, Paypal will automatically refund your money.Quote:

Funny thing is, yes, I'm ticked off that the Everdrive doesn't work, but, it took far too long to receive it, and was poorly packaged for the price I paid. Absolutely terrible.
Son of a bitch, he declined the refund.
Claims he tested it. Well a black screen isn't "tested".
Says I pay for return shipping, then he will refund it with shipping price refunded.
I don't think he understands that I literally don't have the money to even ship this item back.
