The screen controller looks really lame to me. I like the Wii more than most people on the internet seem to, but the Wii U doesn't interest me one bit so far. But it's too early to predict how it will do.

Its a glorified iPad. I like the simplicity of the Wii Remote, especially on games like Other M. What is with Nintendo's obsession with multiple screens?
AHAH, that is funny as hell. believe it not, I'm only 19 year old and I still feel like a old man due to fact I like 80's and 90's stuff while others just always interested in newer stuff. I would be like no thank you, I'm happy with my own little puny old TV while you're happy off with your giant home theater style TV.
I have tried playing FPS online on xbox360 at someone's house, god those online gamers are freaks I mean they run so fast and I get stabbed a lot! I like stealth in my own games better anyway, those online players won't go slow and sneak around like I would in offline FPS games.
I think it will sell the same way all of Nintendo's other consoles have sold, quality games, established fanbase, and Nintendo's marketing expertise. That being said I personally have less interest in the WiiU than the Wii. That new controller looks like a cutting board. Still it's interesting because it makes me think of the "slates" Card wrote about in Ender's Game.
Not to mention it looks really easy to break.
Wait, the Wii U is a portal nintendo wii?
You forgot quality manufactured/design(not to mention Nintendo actually beta tests the OS before puting the console on the market). Omg, Nintendo systems don't beak, you would think since the wii is so small, yet dense(not to mention Isn't cart based), it would be prone to breaking, but nope, it Isn't. I must've knoched over my wii(note I have a wood floor) almost a dozen times by now, and it still works perfectly.
Yeah...I just hope they release a console that's been properly tested.
I think it has the potential to be a huge success if they market it right and make clever use of the tablet craze. Like it or not, people are nuts about them. I'm downright shocked it took Google this long to announce one of their own.
I'm someone who still refuses to own a cell phone. So yeah, not a fan of tablets.
