Does use of the super scope require the snap-on sight? I bought two of these at GW some time back and really want to get them tested, but they are missing the sights. They are also missing their wireless receivers, but those can be purchased from ebay fairly easily. If I don't have the sights, will it adversely affect the aim?
Its been so many years, I can't remember. But really the only question anyone who owns a Super Scope should ask is "Why the hell did I buy this?!"

It really won't matter, there is no 16 bit sniper game, you'll be flashing that gun all over the screen faster than a sight could ever be used.
The Super Scope was much more unruly though. Both systems got shafted in the light gun department. Super Scope had the cooler tech demo cartridge, but the Menacer was the better gun.Quote:

The Menacer is a pistol with a bunch of optional attachments. The Super Scope is a big log that sits on your shoulder.

In the case of the Super Scope it's a relic from, arguably, the best generation in gaming. One consolation is that it actually offered some use and play and didn't become a bookend like R.O.B. My S.S. has never been used and just opening the box.........the typical smell of 80's and early 90's Nintendo hardware! Someoen should make that into an air freshener.Quote:
