Interesting. So now the question is, why does Sonic need auto insurance?
Well there's his car in Sega Allstars Racing and the Tornado Airplane. Think of all the times Tails has crashed that Airplane.
But, can Flo really handle that much? ;)
Lol, out of all the mascots, they choose Sonic, the only one who doesn't need a car or whatnot. The one they should've picked was Sally(she always has to fix the disasters Sonic, and tails cause, not to mention she's also the voice of reason).
Except Sally is not a canonical Sonic character and the only people who would get who that was would be the people who watched the cartoon when they were younger. Seriously that would be the dumbest character to pick in the Sonic franchise.
Um, a vast majority of Sonic fans, have watched the show(which btw also happens to be the age group rng that would be driving now, thus this commercial is targeting.Quote:

More people will recognize Sonic than they will a random character from an old obscure Cartoon that had less than 50 episodes made. Parents and Grandparents will recognize Sonic, very few people will recognize Sally.
While I disagree with Sally being used in that ad, she's still around in the Archie comics, so people do know her. (and 50 eps? I'm a Satam fanboy, there was only 26. ;))
I never heard of her, nor watched the TV shows.
Yea she was supposedly in the comics as well, and speaking of comic books, to those who read them, did they ever explain why Sonic's shoes don't disintergrate?Quote:

Well I couldn't remember so I took a ballpark guess. So yeah, a 26 episode cartoon from over 15 years ago is definitely not relevant enough to put that character in the commercial over Sonic.Quote:
