Out of all of the ninja characters in the Mortal Kombat series, who is your favorite and who is your least favorite and why?
Original Ninjas:
Sub Zero: My favorite
Ermac: The second most enigmatic, but the most interesting.
Noob Saibot: The third most enigmatic, second most interesting, but favorite of the made-up weirdos.
Scorpion: Second least favorite, but probably the strongest and most adept of all the ninjas.
Reptile: Least favorite
Cyber Ninjas:
Cyrax: Favorite
Smoke: The most enigmatic of all the ninjas.
Sektor: I haven't been able to connect with this guy yet.
Other Ninjas:
I haven't been able to play or learn about them yet.
Reptile; cos green's my fave colour. Gameplay wise, Scorpion. Least fave is Sub Zero, mainly because most people tend to spam his freeze blast over and over.
Sub Zero has always been my favorite ninja. Reptile is my least favorite, mainly due to the fact that I've hardly ever used him, and wasn't always up to date with his special moves.
Sub-Zero is my favorite because of his combo potential and his freezing ability. Reptile is my least favorite of the bunch since I don't really use him all that much.
1. Scorpion (undead ass kicker, and my dad always enjoyed saying GET OVER HERE when I played)
2. Sub-Zero (just classic, the dude throws ice)
3. Reptile (not my fav character, but he's just part of the original 3)
Don't really care about the rest, Ermac was never real in MK1 (in b4 error macro blabla) and Rain was just a stupid Prince joke.
Guess of all those clones I can kinda stand Smoke, cause he smokes.. which is a cool effect.
But no, hidden characters should have stayed hidden, this includes Reptile.

Playing straight up I usually preferred Sub Zero, but these 2 guys were bad ass. It was a rarity to actually be able to play with them because they were hidden characters in the early games, at least in MKII anyway. However, IIRC Noob had the same exact moves as Scorpion. It was cool to play him though because he was a black shadow.
I'm still pissed off they didn't give us the MKII suits for Scorpion/SubZero/Reptile!
MKII Human Smoke was the same, only he had smoke emitting from him; both were just faster & tougher Scorpions.Quote:

So Noob Saibot between MK3 and UMK3 are completely different characters, with different tactics. If you fight in him MK3, for example, he lacks almost all his moves by virtue of Kano not having those animations.
