You don't need to own hardware, to have played on real hardware.

The 2600 is not awesome for classic arcade games - they were always well below what was available in the arcades at the time. At best, you'd get a good conversion, but none of them compare to the real deal.
And besides, those same games you're touting are available on the 7800 in better incarnations, and they're also available on the SMS.
The vast, vast majority of 2600 games are trash. Those which are not are available elsewhere in better forms. There are numerous exclusive SMS games which are not available anywhere else, like Ninja Gaiden.
Describe the SMS boot screen while you're at it.
Tell me what happens in each console if you turn them on with no game inserted, as well. Both do different things.
Describe the AV port on a PC engine. It's very unique.
How big is a PC Engine, also. Where is the cart slot located on a Sega Master System? The EXT port as well. What is the diagram on the front of an SMS?
These are all piss easy questions if you've ever seen real hardware before.
At the time, noone could even dream of having a arcade cab in their house, don't be a fool, I wasn't comparing it to systems that noone could own anyway.
The 7800 by It's self sucked, but unlike the SMS, It's BC with 2600. However lets take your stance, that the SMS games are =to 7800 games, lol that's a good thing? The 7800 was little more then a updated 2600, a system from the 70s, good for simple arcade style games, not much more(where the 80s is about console gaming, with more thought put into the games).
I had a Space Invaders cabinet in 1983. Don't be stupid.
That's not my stance at all, the SMS is miles better than the 7800. And besides, the SMS could also play SG-1000 and SG-3000 games.Quote:

And come on now, don't avoid the questions. You're so big about how you play on real hardware (unlike me)... describe it.
What a fun little flame war.
You called the Playstation a POS. Guess that makes two of you. And should I infer from your disliking it you never played a real Playstation?
Sounds like the SMS.

The real point is why would anybody pick to have only an SMS when he could pick a Genesis that could play SMS games as well?
You're a spoiled rich kid, good for you. Why would I remember every aspect of POS systems/games(lol It's something I try to forget), that I didn't buy due to it sucking(It's not worth it to own bad systems, but I don't expect you to see it that way), and there being much better systems out there.
I've owned a Playstation since 1999, and I own many great games for it, but I hate the controller, so much that it makes make hate the console. If I can ever afford one of those Saturn-like controllers for it, perhaps I would change my mind, and not hate it so much.
