I always thought the human monkey thing was kinda cool. I also think that Miracle World is a way better developed game overall than Super Mario Bros. Only Mario 3 can hold a candle to what Sega did with Miracle World.

I've said this before, there needs to be a Smash Bros with Alex Kidd and Sonic in it, that would be the grudge match of the century, Sonic stole Alex Kidd's life, he ruined everything for him, got to the top of the world, and then sold out, ending up as Sega's bloated habitual crack whore, 20 years later someone needs to punch some sense, and dignity into Sonic, that someone is Alex Kidd.

Oh new Kirby games, I see. I haven't played anything after the SNES ones and he was still pretty damn cute back then.

Whats horrible is, I love Leslie Phillips and Danny John-Jules (Cat from Red Dwarf) who did the voice overs for the European versions but I just wish I could mute the little bastard.
Though to be honest the same goes for Sonic, I intentionally changed the language in Sonic Generations to japanese just so playing through the game any cutscences I couldn't skip would intentionally not make any sense to me and not wind me up even more.
Also, whats the beef with Alex the Kidd. I thought his japanese style looked awesome, though he was bastardised over here in the west. I love the whole Journey to the West look he had going.

I love Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Alex as a character, and think that real sequels could be amazing, especially a "Metrastloidania" style game with Miracle World gameplay. I don't like any other Alex Kidd game though.
I think that Opa Opa is the greatest Sega character that will ever be.
