These games didn't age; they were never very good to begin with.Quote:

i dont understand too why capcom doesnt release this! maybe some license problem with Fox!?!
the snes version has nothing to do with this masterpiece! :(Quote:

I'm pretty sure it's a license thing but then again they released an orginal beat em up in 97 and it has nevr gotten ported either. What's really sad is that the storyline in this game was better than that shitty AvP movie that came out a few years ago.
It sucks that we never really got to see the console side of things with graphics like AvP and DnD: Shadow Over Mystara. I don't think many people would argue that the golden age of 2D gaming came with the Genesis/SNES, but it wasn't until the generation after that 2D was able to graphically peak, and by then 3D was all the rage so everything that had been built upon to that point got tossed out like yesterday's newspaper and we never got to see what developers could've done with something like the Saturn.
I'll still take X-Men or Simpsons over Aliens vs Predator. Didnt age well ? Never good to beging with ? I cant believe what Im reading here. I will admit I am partly blinded by nostaligia in that I have no memories of playing AvP in the arcade like I do with the other 2 games.
there are nice too!i like em very mutch! but i think AvP is a little more complex (moves etc.) than simpsons or xmen!
AvP has more moves because it came out a few years later. I would put it in my top 10 beat em ups of all time but not at #1.
I would gladly take TMNT or Battle Toads over this.
X-Men and Simpsons were made by Konami, not Capcom. And this AvP game was released in 94, not 97 :)
Looks cool, I've never seen it until now.
The Jaguar AvP is not too shabby either, though they changed it to FPS format.
