As a downloadable title akin to the Afterburner revival, why not? But Daytona's prime is in the past, and you can play Daytona and Daytona 2 using FFB wheels on any modern PC.
And zoltor, come off it. It's already been done using TrackIR, for the enthusiasts who want head-tracking in their SIMULATIONS. The Wii U is another gimmick, but I'm not ruling out a potential handful of games that will make actual use of the tablet thingy, just like the handful of DS and Wii titles that made use of their respective gimmicks.
Zoltor, you're just giving people more fuel to flame you off the site. This goes for what you're posting in the Valve/Steambox thread as well. When a bunch of members are flaming another lone member it's never the bunch who get banned. Never. You'll retaliate, get banned, and be remembered as a troll entirely irrespective of how equally ill or much worse the bunch were behaving.
The only person for whom this notion would have a chance of working is an advert actor; nobody else holds his controller upright at 90 degrees, it's normally held in one's lap or on one's thighs.
One possible use of such a tablet controller would be for remote rockets' guidance in games like Battletanx (the N64 and PS games) or Bond. It'd appear the character was just hiding in wait on the tv but he could actually secretly be piloting a rocket or some miniature helicopter which the other players would be completely unaware of till it showed up in their portion of the tv screen. There'd have to be some signal on the tablet alerting him when he was endangered so he could return his attention to the tv in time.
Who says I meant additional uneeded time, it takes a certain amount of time for the brain to decode the info, lol not two seconds either(usually nowhere near 2 seconds, and I've only known one game that could potentially take near 1 second, well from a normal distance from the screen anyway).Quote:

You realize it was originally an Arcade Game right? And the Arcade version is leaps and bounds better. What makes Daytona a blast to play is that it's an extremely fun and easy to play racing game with excellent multiplayer. You don't need to be an amazing race car driver to pull off drifting through turns in Daytona USA, you just need to know how to shift and turn the wheel. It's more like pulling off a combo in a fighting game than it is trying to make the car turn. That's what I love about the game at least.Quote:

Well, I've never played the Arcade game, but I found it very difficult to make turns in the Saturn version of Daytona USA, and it just wasn't fun for me. I like games with good turning, not one where I have to struggle to make turns.Quote:
