You're a grown man watching a show about rainbows and ponies. That's about as gay as you can get right there.

OH NO MAN! I'M 14 YEARS OLD AND I'M STRAIGHT, NOT BI OR GAY! But since I watch a GREAT show made by TALENTED people trying to entertain the WHOLE FAMILY, I MUST BE GAY ACCORDING TO YOU! OH OH OH! And I beat Twinbee Rainbow Bell Adventure on the Super Famicom the other day! The title has "Rainbow" in it and I always played as the pink one because she has the BEST WEAPON, THAT MUST BE ANOTHER REASON WHY I MUST GAY ACCORDING TO YOU! IS YOU INTELLIMEGENT!
I think Gamemaster is a bronie, may we burn him?
Twinbee has rainbows in it, it is not about rainbows. There in lies the difference.
Nah, grown men who watch MLP tend to be fedora-wearing neckbearded manbabies who have absolutely zero social skills or sense of hygiene. Homosexuality doesn't even factor into it for me.
Well yeah, there's eddiespruce but I don't think he's particularly well-liked here.
I enjoy being prejudiced against brony twats.
Faggotry and Homosexuality aren't the same thing. I've met seen and met gay men that didn't act like faggots. They're two separate concepts that used be be together because most gay guys acted like faggots (Village People anyone?).
Feeling sexual attraction to other men - Homosexuality.
Watching a show about pink ponies and rainbows - Total Faggotry.
Now, feeling attracted to other men is pretty faggy (since, well, taking it up the ass isn't exactly something very masculine), but it's not even CLOSE to how much loving a show about pink ponies and rainbows is.
Anyone here ever watch My name is Earl? Remember earl's gay friend? And his boyfriend?
That's kinda the difference I'm talking about, though the boyfriend was both Gay and a Total Faggot.
EDIT: You bronies need to be more like this:

This whole homosexuality > BRONIE argument is all sorts wrong.
Bronies, yeah we know, load of neckbeard manchildren. Thats a whole 'nother issue, tbh most Bronies would probably grow neckbeards in place as a means to 'emphasise' there manliness, for fear being labelled 'gay' anyway.
The argument seems to follow, if a man is gay, its okay. But if a man where to be 'gay' and 'camp' or 'feminine' he is thus a gay 'faggott' the negaitive conotation placed over the 'campness' which is seen as negative. Thats one of those really inverted homophobic arguments that gets banded around.
"Yeah I'm okay with gay people, but if my son was gay I would'nt want him to be some sissy, I'd want him to come up and tell me to my face he was gay, like a real man or I'd knock him straight"
I hear statements like that all the time, even amongst friends, doling out violence when masculinity is in question. This just wreaks of covert homophobia.
Normalised Masculine values can go take a hike for all I care.
Also My Little Pony sucks.
Dare I ask why everyone say it's about pink ponies and rainbows when just about 5% of the ponies in the show are actually pink?
It might be a bit unfair to judge a person's personality completely based on one interest.
I have one friend for example who collects plenty of saturn shooters, watches mainly older monster movies, slashers and splatter flicks, listens to metal and studies biochemistry.
He also watches MLP and keeps up to date with plenty of the fandom areas.
Some people wouldn't even dare call him a faggot or even ponder the possibility of him watching a show intended for little girls.
He's a very manly man, but that doesn't mean he shuns the possibility of there being any redeeming factors to a girly show.
Not ruling out the possibility that he MIGHT actually be homosexual, but he doesn't act very feminine at least.
Unlike the older MLP generations though, this one has a quite elite team behind it, with plenty of tallented voice actors, animators and writers.
People like:
Ashleigh Ball (Lead singer in the acoustic pop band "Hey Ocean!")
Tara Strong (Voiced for example the main character in recent game "Lollipop Chainsaw", Clara and Toot in "Drawn Together", Timmy Turner in "Fairly oddParents" etc. etc.)
Lauren Faust (Animator for shows like "Power Puff Girls" and "Fosters home of imaginary parents" and movies like "Iron Giant" and "Cats don't dance")
John de Lancie (Most known as "Q" from Star Trek the next generation. Also voiced characters in recent games "Quantum Conundrum" and "Assasin's Creed III")
The team behind the current gen MLP has decided to take a step away from the previous premise of making a series that's all about selling the toys
and actually try to make a compelling series that's enjoyable for both kids and adults alike.
Sure seems like they succeeded given the current fanbase of the series.
Hah, I'm surprised at the views in here about homosexuality in particular. I thought that kind of thinking was limited to we oppressive/nonintellectual/ignorant/stupid/poorthinking/uneducated/intolerant christians. Anyway, what I don't get about all of this is why advertise?
Let's say I know a guy, we'll call him feath, who from time to time likes to do some weird, albeit heterosexual, stuff. He doesn't post pictures of it on the internet, he doesn't start threads about it looking for supporters or fellow "weird stuff" practitioners like "Captain Hammer" from Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. He sure as heck wouldn't start a pride parade asking the country to legislate acceptance of "weird stuff". He just does it in the privacy of his own home, and either finds it enjoyable or awkward depending on what direction the wind is blowing, and then goes on about life as normal.
So anyway, like our friend feath, I don't see the point of talking about all of this stuff. It's not like it's illegal, and most of our hobbies set us as non-standard male citizens anyway. I guess it must have something to do with the whole "man-child" thing, but being weird and so emotionally immature that you need to seek acceptance in an unrelated web forum is just really sad.
@TVC, it's redemptive violence, we can thank the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show and subsequent Westerns for the deeply seated concept.
I don't have a problem with homosexuals. This however is rubbing the fact you watch a show for little girls about ponies and rainbows in everyone's faces and trying to get others to do it. Its the equivalent of a flamboyantly gay man walking up to you on the street and making out with another guy in front of you and then pestering you to try it and saying it wasn't gay.
If you are going to watch MLP in the privacy of your own home that's fine, but don't rub it in everyone's faces and talk down to those who don't want to watch it. And don't deny the fact that for a grown man to watch a show aimed at little girls is not only a bit creepy, it's also rather gay. After all the base idea of something being gay is for a guy to do something that is viewed as feminine or girly.
For example, I watched Sailor Moon when it was on TV, and still do every now and then when I come across it. However I don't rub that fact in others peoples faces or pester people to watch it with me. I also don't deny that it's a show for girls and that for a guy to watch it is a bit awkward to say the least.
