I found mine in a used electronics shop in the nineties. They wanted $90 for it. Neither I nor the girl behind the counter really knew what it was. Of course, I recognized that it was a Sega and knew that it was not a Game Gear. I thought it was expensive until I priced one at a new electronics store at $180 and found out that it played Genesis games, which I had plenty of already. So I bought the used one and it came with the official carrying bag, AC adapter, battery case, rechargeable battery pack, car adapter, and AV cord.
A few years later, I dropped it at the airport and the screen cracked. Or so I thought. I found out the outer screen just pulls off and was able to put a new one on for a few dollars. My Nomad still works great to this day, except for the rechargeable pack. I always plug it in anyways.
