She has been missing from YouTube for almost a year.

Wow, you kidding me? That was a convenient music channel for me! Geez . Though, was he really underrated? He seemed pretty popular to me whenever I visited his channel.
So then it's not really underrated then? Or are you saying that he's hated even more than he deserves? Am I misunderstanding somethin'?
In her last video, she asked her fans to buy her video games through ebay, and never showed her face again.
There were originally two owners of this account. Both were Amiga gamers. Then they allowed other non Amiga longplays on there. They shared the account user/password with a few others for uploading, then eventually those people shared out the user/pass and so on. Right before they got banned, some idiot logged in and accidentally deleted two weeks worth of new videos. And I guess someone took someone else's (yes, I used "else's") video and posted on there. That's why the account got banned. Copyright infringement from some Russian longplay youtuber complaining. Why the hell would you give out the user/pass like that and not expect something like this to happen? Fools (to be polite). The other gripe I had with the site is that one of the uploaders put a huge barrage of PCE longlplays on there. He didn't even know the games, they were like his first time play through and using TAS (not to mention the emulation he was using had way too loud PSG volume levels to red book audio). I don't mind a watching a TAS long play, but god dammit.. at least know how to play the game before hand. If you can't be bothered to know the game, then don't bother putting up a longplay of it. Simple as that. There was a Bonk's Revenge video where they TAS'd it and inadvertently skipped levels because they collected way too many 'smilies' in the stage (and they were clueless that this was happening).
I also really like Retro Core by Yakumo (Yakumo1975 on YouTube) just for the eclectic mix of stuff. I really, really like 16-Bit Gems by clanofthegraywolf though. Informative, funny gives some attention to some overlooked games (plus some that weren't overlooked).
AVGN I like - not for the quality of the reviews but for the fact he basically has his one trick/gimmick and plays up to it. You can tell each episode is a labour of love and has a lot of effort put into it and his background/love of film-making comes through. He has an angle and it works for him. It is more an entertainment show which happens to cover games than a review show.
Enjoy Game Sack too - again it has the angle of the pro-Nintendo vs pro-Sega (school yard console war vibe) and the guys are enthusiastic and the shows well scripted and edited etc. Keep up the good work guys - genuinely pleased when I see a new episode is out there.
Over-rated - too many to mention. Agree that too many YouTubers think that badly ripping off stuff or trying to seem hilarious all the time is the way to go. Very few detailed, objective reviews out there and way too many which are basically the same as each other.
Several longplays are good to see some details in the games, but I never watched any of them for more than 20-30 min.
And, yes, the emulation used and configured like ass always let me down.
Those videos would be awesome if they were all from real hardware, without so many dirty tricks and with the real video/sound quality of the consoles...
I am seeing their longplays on other channels. lol

Oh yes. That guy is awesome. It was thanks to him and his site (Segagaga Domain) that I really got interested in the Saturn. And it's also thanks to that that I discovered Virtua Photo Studio and The Yakyuken Special :D
And of course there's the Shite of the Week/Shite of the Show too :)
