I thought it was released already, but it appears to have dropped off the radar. :(
It was released earlier in the week I just found out while I was playing the Wii. The Game Crazy sold out of the game when I asked them about it. One site said it would come out on the 21st.
A friend of mine bought it. I love how the box doesn't even tell you what games are on it! But we did play some, and like Capcom Classics Collection 1 I feel that Capcom could have done a much better job with the controls, the GUI, the emulation, and especially the super harsh sound. Here are some of the games that are on it:
-Street Fighter
-Strider (seems to be the same emulated ROM that was used on the PS1 version as it has the same glitches and is missing the same music).
-Side Arms (Emulation seems screwed up as character does not face left when shooting left)
-Black Tiger
-Tiger Road
-Chiki Chiki Boys (called Mega Twins here... sound is much worse than the Genesis version)
-ECO Blasters (or something like that where you try to stop housing development on the moon.)
-Block Block (a form of Breakout that controls horribly.)
-3 Wonders
-Magic Sword
and more.
I enjoyed the first one and am looking forward to the second. But blame Digital Eclipse for these problems.Quote:

It didn't for me. Were you playing on Xbox or PS2? I was playing on PS2. Of course the emulator itself could be occasionally glitchy.
I was firing left & right in my copy of the game (Xbox version).
Mine is the PS2 version. You might have gotten a weird copy or something.
Not me. My friend. Maybe my friend has a bad PS2. Or maybe God doesn't love him as much. :)
In any case, I'm betting that glitch is only occasional and probably wouldn't happen if it was booted up again. Though it may happen if we went through and played the same games in the same order maybe.
Is the Xbox version hard to find or something? My EB hasn't gotten a single copy yet, just for the PS2.
Well that is your problem right there, you are relying on a single store for your XBOX gaming fix.
I just broke down and ordered my copy off of Amazon.
I wish Capcom wouldn't rely on Digital Eclipse or whoever to write crappy emulators for them. I wish they would do it themselves.
Good to see Capcom care about writing an accurate emulator that represents their classics....
Yes, I am, but that's because I work there! :pQuote:
