So taking into account the younger videogaming scene of the 90s (a time during which it was generally socially unacceptable to be playing games in your 30s) you actually was at one of the extreme ends, by the time the N64 came out you probably had very little time for gaming at all, and very little contact with friends, who were mostly going to be working hard for promotions, getting their own places, and thinking about settling down, a very different environment to the average 90s gamer, who would've been in school, or college, or not yet settled into a long term job, and still living with their parents.
