Personally, I think game prices will rise a bit more but hit a ceiling sometime in the next couple of years, then hopefully return to normal levels. The games that are truly rare (as opposed to just being expensive) will probably retain their high prices or go even higher, while the games that aren't really rare at all, such as PCE Dracula X or the previous example of Final Fantasy VII, will probably drop.
I'm just really, really glad that I got most of my SNES games back in the day. If I were a younger man and just started SNES collection I probably wouldn't have but 3 games or so, and it's my second favorite system.
I really have my doubts, games are just going to get more and more expensive, especially games on Nintendo platforms. Time to get a Super Everdrive/Everdrive 64
