So? If millions of people want it and will pay $60 plus DLC you'd be an idiot not to make another COD/Madden/Street Fighter IV iteration/etc. Also, COD has been "whored out" practically from the jump, which is ok since some franchises exist solely to be whored out (see above). And still its different strokes, if people love it then let them, there are plenty of good games coming out this holiday season that aren't Halo 4 or BLOPS 2 to keep us entertained.
And I'll probably be getting Madden this year, seeing as the last time the Redskins were not a chore to play as was '93 I believe. HOPE/HTTR/RGIII, all that good stuff!
I looooove Nazi Zombie mode, but I am disgusted by their DLC schemes,
what they do is they release the game then start selling death match packs combined with an extra zombie map.
So instead of just buying 1 dlc pack with 5 zombie maps I gotta buy 5 expensive deathmatch packs with maps I'll never use since I hate death matching.
so yeah I never bought their map packs.
I blame humanity. We might not be doing infanticides en masse nowadays, but this...

The original Black Ops had an interesting setting, great multiplayer, and cool guns.
Some of the missions were pretty cool too, but a lot of the presentation and the story was incredibly lacking. I want to see more. More from the Russian perspective, from a neutral force's perspective. It also would have been nice to have music included in the game from the era, instead of boring dubstep.
The Cold War is such an interesting part of the world's history, spies, paranoia, mutually assured destruction, I want more damn it.
