Not everyone can enjoy the same types of movies. I don't watch a lot of new movies, however I enjoyed the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and one the best movies I've ever seen would have to be "The Time Machine(2002)".

The Time Machine was absolutely dire, but then so was Evolution and you seem to like that enough to make it representative of you. So perhaps I shouldn't be surprised. :)

I'm not into movies that are filled with sex and excessive violence, and that's probably why I enjoyed The Time Machine so much.

Seriously, there are hundreds of movies that have come out since TTM that are devoid of sex and excessive violence, but that are actually GOOD films, too.

The Time Machine and Evolution are amongst my favorite SciFi films of all time. They were both great and enjoyable films. I'm certain I could find many films you like I personally don't like.

For the record, I do like that movie quite a bit. It's certainly not incredibly special (and I'd have to ask how familiar you are with the genre to be listing it as one of your all-time, sci-fi favs), but it's definitely entertaining. I got no problem with Evolution the flick, it's Evolution the game that I found to be a pointless waste of time. Just to clear that up! :)

Neveldine and Taylor are retarded pricks, they don't have a single sense of filming, they should be forbidden to make movies.

But I don't hate Jason Statham. Don't expect him in a Woody Allen movie, he's supposed to kick ass.

That said, Expendables 2 seems like a great follow-up.
I was hoping for a kick-ass woman as well but I think they'll try to do it on the third one.
Cynthia Rothrock would be great in it. HAHAHA

crank isn't the worst film I've seen, but it isn't that good.I also think they needed Rothrock in this movie, they need a woman from that era.

True, but a movie with too much sex will net you an NC-17 or an X rating, while it's almost impossible to get an NC-17 rating even for violence no matter what sick or twisted stuff you show.

Anway, Expendables was an awesome movie. It's like Stallone travelled back to the 80s in a time machine and made another cheesy, campy 80s action flick. You couldn't mimic the style any better. And it's fun to watch these dinosaurs roam the earth. I look forward to the second.

And for the record, the original Time Machine movie (with Rod Taylor) is a sci fi classic and should be watched by everyone:) I haven't seen the Guy Pierce one but tend to avoid remakes of classic movies...
