Try the Guardiana database search. It should be easy enough to make a list using that.
I remember an earlier topic about this where someone might have posted such a list. Unfortunately, the search function works like shit for me, so I can't help you.
For the U.S, basically every first-party game from August 1989-June 1993, when Sega switched over to the standardized "candy stripe" box art. Keep in mind that before this, most third-parties designed their box arts however the hell they wanted, with no standards in place.

The only third party publisher I can think of that used the grid boxes is RazorSoft (Technocop, Pigskin Footbrawl, Death Duel).
