Another one that I enjoyed playing:
The camera wasn't the best, but I've seen tons worse. Other than that, it was a pretty fun game start to finish.
Captain Commando. Awesome beat-em-up by Capcom that only got a crummy port to the SNES here in the US. They released a near-perfect port of it for the Playstation in Japan though, and a Sega CD version was planned for released but cancelled :( If you enjoy beat-em-ups, you'll love Captain Commando.
Haunting: Starring Polterguy (Mega Drive/Genesis)
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi..._cover_art.jpg
Vito Sardini is one cheap bastard. He owns and runs a skateboarding company and buys the absolute cheapest parts to cut costs and obtain the maximum profit. The unsuspecting consumer (hint: that's you) purchases one of Sardini's poorly crafted skateboards and tests it outside when tragedy strikes: your board breaks from under you and you die upon impact.
Pretty depressing story, isn't it?
But, you come back as a ghost! Given the new name Polterguy, you are now on a mission of revenge against the entire greedy Sardini family. How will you avenge your own death? By scaring the living crap out of each family member (four in all) of course! With each mansion the Sardini's move to, it's your job to make sure you give them hell and get them out.
(story ripped from here: http://hardcoregaming101.net/haunting/haunting.htm)
Playing as a ghost out for revenge, you are able to inhabit objects dotted around the Sardini's family home and morph them into nightmarish apparitions to scare the greedy family out of the minds and also, their home. A very, unique one of a kind title that is also a Genesis exclusive.

Did anyone mention Mr. Nutz?
Puggsy (Mega Drive/Mega CD/Amiga)
http://cdn1.spong.com/pack/p/u/puggs...egadrive-_.jpg
You play as Puggsy; an orange bean-bag like alien who lands he's spaceship on a planet only to come back and find out some pesky raccoons have pinched it!
On his quest to retrieve his ship and return home, Puggsy needs to solve fiendish puzzles utilizing items scattered through out each world; from guns, knifes, seashells and blocks to Super Shades, apples and ray pistols!
The Mega Drive and Amiga versions are pretty much the same, but the Mega CD version is an enhanced port with all-new bosses, save feature and graphical effects that take advantage of the system. Whatever version, Puggsy is a blast from start to finish. Awesome game.

I've not played that much of the Amiga version to notice any graphical differences, but I absolutly agree with you in regards to the music. IMHO, the Mega Drive version's music is the best, even better than the CD version.
See, I adore the game, I don't see it. To me, the artwork is brilliant, but I do agree with Puggsy himself being one butt-ugly character.

I'm going with The Last Remnant(PC version). It came out in '08 on the 360, but it was a mess, the PC version is vastly superior. The game has amazing art assets, an amazing score, and the battle system is quite fresh. The story is crap, but it is light on weaboo trash, the main character is the only annoying character in the game.I'd recommend it to anybody who likes JRPGs without a bunch of filler, it's just quests and fighting.Plus it has one of the best female characters I've seen in any game.

I actually like the way the puggsy sprite looks, it's weird as hell but charming at the same time. The box art however? A depressed alien with no mouth (he has one in the game) holding a burning map and sitting next to a bomb (is he going to kill himself)? If I had seen the game back when I was a kid I wouldn't have bought it.
Was Puggsy also released in Japan? if so did they change the cover art to look happier?
