Still, it's a great game. That's all that really matters. ;)

True that.

Pokemon mixed with a platformer essentially. The idea is brilliant even though the execution is subpar.
Still a hell of a lot of fun.

A great little wildwest game with good voice acting, gameplay and story. It's a bit short, but you can pick it up for pennies so that's really not an issue. It's also on a load of different formats.

I know I'm always bringing this up, but -
Silent Bomber!
Boom!, Boom!, Kapow!, Blammo!
Michael Bay would love this game.
This is the game which made me start liking the Playstation.
To give our Genesis a little love in this thread, here's "Second Samurai" for the Mega Drive:
A PAL-exclusive game, so not too many people heard of it (I myself only found out about it a few years ago). A good platformer, big sprites, hordes of enemies, 15 levels with diverse boss battles and some versatile ideas to mix things up a bit (like a stage where you're flying a jetpack or riding a velociraptor). Allows 2-player simultaneous gameplay, though the screen gets REALLY crowded then. Definitely worth a look or two.
Second Samurai has some good music. Pity it was Europe only.
It's not region-locked though, so if you find it, grab it ;)
The problem with posting genesis games is that most people will know of them :p.
Amiga Second Samurai > Genesis Second Samurai (though not by much). I'd post that version but it's certainly not underrated.

Not amazing but it uses the Sega CD hardware in certain parts and it's not shitty FMV. What more could you want on the SCD :p?
Second Samurai (Amiga) should totally be on here too, Karmahl's just too image concious, instead of being like "hyaaa! chop socky kung fu action!" he's like "this character just isn't cool enough for me man"
I do wish they'd put some kind of 2-button support in though, as I can understand that it would probably take tons of practice to get used to the game for most people not used to that IK+ style control.
Since when is Second Samurai underrated? Most Amiga fans know it and like it (myself included).
I just which it didn't run at 25fps and constantly cut the music to play sound effects... but that's pretty much what one has to put up with on the Amiga.
Amiga fans? you mean a small section of Europeans?
I'm sure if I went over to IGN, and Gamespot forums and started talking about Second Samurai everyone would be like "Second Samurai? jeez I'm tired about hearing about that game all the damn time, if its not Contra III this, then it Second Samurai that!"
;)
To an extent, yes :p
Also, I don't know about elsewhere, but in Britain Second Samurai wasn't even that well known amongst Amiga owners, it was only later with the internet that it seemed to become more popular.
At the time, from what I can recall, the Amiga owners were mostly talking about Turrican, Bitmap Brothers games (like Chaos Engine, and Gods), crappy Team 17 games, and Shadow of the Beast, and Fatal Rewind as their action games of choice.
Some of them even think that Xenon 2 and Project-X are good games!

Everyone knows it by now, but it's awesome. Even Zeta (that hates nearly every genesis game) liked the MD version, and most of his complaints are fixed in the SCD version.
