Why I love superguns:
All of the above, and the ability to play the real arcade hardware.
Also I don't see how someone can be a retro sega fan and not into arcade stuff....Sega was HUGE in the arcade back in the day. I do understand why people take their time getting into arcade collecting. The pcbs are huge, have no cases, and are more expensive than most console games. Superguns are pretty much all custom made so there's no such thing as a cheap supergun, which is why I built one myself. And then there's the arcade boards that used a suicide battery which mostly got thrown out so now they're rare as f#ck because barely anybody kept their non working arcade board until someone found a way to revive it many years later. Arcade collecting certainly it's "plug in and play" which is what makes it difficult. And also if you want a great arcade board that's hard to get expect to pay lots and lots of $$$$$$$$ and take forever just to find the board for sale.
