This is not safe for work, but it's got a lot of Sega love going on.

the very first thing he says is they went back to 1991
Sonic 2 is on the TV screen
right from the first 3 seconds of the video, the illusion is immediately broken.
Those Sega towers are epic win.
But yeah, the 1991 thing is a bit off. The 32X came out in late '94, but that aside this is still pretty damn cool.
I love that man. I love his collection, and oh god do I miss those beeping noise things!
And Bart Simpon's Guide to Life didn't come out until '93, time travel fail.
That was kind of fun to watch but man did he say "yo" way to much lol
It takes a lot of devotion to the 90s to make something that awesome. The details for everything are really sweet, especially the posters that are tastefully hung at an angle for maximum edginess :D
However, while I like a lot of stuff from the 90s, I can still live just fine without Saved by the Bell.
Kelly Kapowski for life mofo!!!

Give him a break, he's obviously not a gamer, just a 90's kid.
Kelly aside, I hated Saved by the Bell with a passion almost as strong as my hatred for Full House and Bob Saget in general.
As for anachronism, I'm not sure about the bed sheets with kanji on them, I think the kanji thing came in the late 90s. Still, I hope to see many more videos like this, hopefully some from the mid to late 80s as well.
I tried watching that video when he posted it on DP. I can't get more than about a minute in before turning it off due to his absurd commentary. It would've been so much better had the guy not opened his mouth.
Really? I think his commentary makes the video. It was pretty funny. The only thing that was wrong was that he said 1991.
I only knew one rich ass little kid that had the Nomad back in the day. I didn't even know it existed, when I saw it my jaw nearly hit the floor. I even still remember that he was playing Zero Tolerance.
I hated him. I hated him so much.
Yes I was jealous.
This is a good idea btw, If I were a rich man and had rooms to spare I'd have totally made an 80's and 90's room.
So, no one going to comment on Conan the Barbarian, which was released in, I believe, 1981? I'm pretty sure Invasion U.S.A. was an '80s movie, too (not so certain on that one, though).
Still, pretty funny.
My best friend growing up loved it to. I can't think of a sitcom with more predictable corny "humor" than Full House, I cringe just thinking about it. I should note that I don't like sitcoms at all though.
Also, I've been thinking about the South Park episode of the man from 1996 all day because of this thread but I can't find it online. So I offer this:

90s rock... but the 80s RULE!
I bet he just had to move back into his mom's house, and found his old room just the way he left it.
Yeah I guess he should have just said it was '94.
What is that thing in the Sega tower, with a cord attached to it???
Ha yeah my friend had a cool LCD game that used those games. It worked great! The game was physically built like a little plastic machine gun (like 1 foot long) and it stood up, and there was the little screen, some kind of little war FPS. The sound effects worked nicely for bombs, weapons, etc.
I barely even noticed that yo
Hell yeah, she was the hottest one on Saved by the Bell! By far.
Maybe those movies were popular in the early 90's too? (I have no idea.)
Also, I agree about hating fucking Full House. lol When I was a little kid, I watched it bc my friends did. One of the biggest wastes of my childhood. I hate corny sitcoms. LOL Mary Kate & Ashley Olson (currenly very hot) were BABIES, and the laugh track would be laughing over things the babies did or said. OMG we were watching babies w/ a laugh track. :hand:
And yeah Bob Sagat is one of the worst TV guys EVER. HORRIBLE on Full House and his later stand-up comedy was predictably filthy and full of cussing. so lame
I doubt I would hate Full House if I watched it again, I still remember it vividly.
Innocent humor and loads of charm from all characters. And Secret Admirer's Lori Loughlin. ;)
I feel the same about El Chavo del Ocho.
The only difference is that El Chavo is still airing, and I laugh just as hard as the first day I watched each episode. :)
It's just sad there's so much hate in this thread.
Full House was fun back in the day, it really was an innocent sitcom for the entire family,
But I guess like with everything time caught up with it, and the 80's style just.. feels silly now.
Gotta love the episode where Urkel comes to visit though!
Real talk: dat video was da bomb! As for the whole "1991" thing he was just confused for a few seconds. Everyone knows that you can only go back to either 1994 or 1995. It's just the laws of time travel.
I'd like to think that no "fucks" or "shits" were harmed during the making of that video.
I think I spent most of the 90s watching 80s re-runs, still, films were pretty good.
For anyone feeling nostalgia for the 90s, remember, they also gave us Sex and the City.
Even my wife wasn't a huge fan of Sex and the City. That came out in the 90's?
Ah, Sarah Jessica Parker so totally made me want to get that specialty channel just to see what she and her beautiful nose were up to.

All I care about is that SG1 also came out in the 90s.
Outer Limits was cool, I spent years arguing with people that the Outer Limits was better than the X-Files at the time but I was always in the minority.
Babylon 5 is my fondest memory. The 90s Star Treks were pretty okay too.
Also, I absolutely love the Batman and Superman cartoons, and kinda like the X-men cartoon series.
Dare I say it? It's time for Animaniacs And we're zany to the max So just sit back and relax You'll laugh 'til you collapse We're Animaniacs! Best part of 90's
Oh yeah, all the Bruce Timm cartoons were awesome, the X-men cartoon was pretty decent too, started off ok, got better as it went on, but then started to become a real mess just after season 3.
The Spider-Man cartoon was plagued by constant introspective whining though.
EDIT: also Tiny Toons was better than Animaniacs
MST3K is the one show I never tire of.
Hey, what about the greatest program block of the 90s?

Also I'm going to move this to off-topic because it doesn't really have anything to do with the Genesis.
