Today is a good day, a new release for our lovely Blast Processing! This time is a conversion from one Amstrad CPC oldie game Oh Mummy! A funny arcade, but with hightly improved graphics and sounds.

Jeez, I used to have this game for the ZX Spectrum. Don't remember playing it all that much, but I can't recall it being bad...I certainly approve of anything that involves upgrading old European computer games, especially when the Mega Drive's also involved.
Well, I just bought it. Looks nice enough, and the price is fair.

The character moves a bit fast, it seems.
That's faithful to the original. It makes sense because the goal of "Oh Mummy!" is to "dig" all the boxes in a level up by running around them.Quote:

And yeah, its a Spectrum game, the Amstrad version was one of those launch ports that Amstrad commissioned, the Spectrum version pre-dated the CPC's actual existence by a few months (though the game itself is a knock-off of Amidar anyway IIRC)
I like what they've done with the graphics, could be interesting I guess.
Does it say anywhere if this thing will be region free?
