Winning bid: EUR 103.00 (Approximately £87.37 or US $134.13)
Frigging disgusting!
yep. That's almost 70 euros gained by the face, for doing nothing.
Update: I've yet to receive my game.
not much of an update, eh?
do you want a rom?
I would keep pressing them on it and see if they'll send you a replacement.
I would also note, you can try going to the USPS office which serves your area and ask if they've got a package for you waiting for pickup. One time I ordered something from China and it didn't arrive after a long time so I contacted the seller, they did an inquiry on the tracking and the next day I got a "sorry we missed you" note in my mail saying my package was in the office. When I went down to pick it up I found out it had been sitting there for like a month!
The lady indignantly asked my why I'd taken so long to pick it up and I told her how the postman never even attempted to deliver it and this was the first notice, dated just the other day, and I only got that because I'd requested a trace on the package. She just mumbled some stuff about how I should be buying American anyway and I was like "whatever", at least I had my package. After this I just started shipping stuff to work, residential USPS service can be garbage sometimes.
Anyway, TL;DR: Post office is lazy sometimes and will just sit on packages and never tell you.
Hey QuickSciFi, remember how I raised the spectre of suspicion with "Sturmwind"? It looks like it is being released shortly. There is a listing on Play-Asia with a release date of April 24 2013: http://www.play-asia.com/Sturmwind_W...n-70-500t.html
Now back on topic!
Xelement5x, you're lucky! In Canada, we must pick up the package within two weeks! If not, Canada Post mails the package back to the sender!
For those who recieved their copy of "Oh Mummy!!", did the package have a tracking number?
Well, now I truly believe I got screwed. :?
On March 20th I received that message stating that it would be the following week when my copy would be sent. Now I just read a subsequent message stating that all the orders have been mailed!
Unless my copy has been in mail limbo for the past month, I don't know how I'll be getting it now.
All I needed to do was front a difference of €6,20 for S&H.
All I was really worried about was that it may have been shipped and lost eons ago without my knowledge. Now that I know it was just a matter of payment for the shipping, I'm set. :)
I sent an email to all of them (in that same post of which you speak, he gives you all the emails). One of them replied to me with the amount. I paid to tienda@1985alternativo.com via Paypal.
I also waited 24 hours. But since the guy never replied, I assumed he was taking me for a non-payer. So I just sent the money.
They should be able to know because it's the same name, paypal email and address.
I also sent them an email notifying them of my payment.
I think they have some major problems in communications department.
Interestingly, I never paid anything for shipping.
when I bought the cart, there was some glitch at the end of checkout process, so I sent them email describing the situation. never got a reply.
well, at least I received the cart.
I'm glad that you brought up the issue regarding the checkout process! When I made payment, that is exactly what transpired when I made payment as well! I did not question it since I recieved a confirmation email with respect to my payment.
After corresponding with them, they seem to be decent group of guys. I believe that they didn't expect that there would be international buyers clamouring for a copy of the game. Hopefully I will recieve my copy of the game so I can give my impressions!
